Low Syn Sausage and Bean Pasta Bake
This delicious Sausage and Bean Pasta Bake will impress your entire family
Slimming World’s Bean Pasta Bake and Slimming Sausage – Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Slimming World, Weight Watchers Friendly
This is a favourite of mine, and it has everything kids love: sausages, beans, and pasta. It’s a satisfying meal when all the ingredients are combined.
It all depends on the type of sausage you use. The lower the syn value, the lower the syn per serving. To make this Sausage and Bean Pasta Bake syn-free, Slimming World’s own syn-free sausages could be used. They are not the best but for having no syns for some the lack of quality might be worth it.
This is a great recipe for fussy children. It’s packed with vegetables but I chop them very fine so they don’t notice. This dish is great for those who struggle to add speed food because they don’t like most vegetables.
You can also serve this Sausage and Bean Pasta Bake with additional vegetables to increase your speed.
All the cheese on the top is counted as a Healthy Extra A portion. This means that your syns can be used elsewhere during the day which is perfect for little treats after a good day of healthy eating.
Can this be made gluten-free?
You can make this gluten-free by using a pasta made from brown rice pasta. Also, you can use a vegetarian sausage to make it vegetarian friendly.
This Sausage and Bean Pasta bake makes 6 good portions. If you only have 4 people like me, you can have 2 leftovers for lunch the next day. Or you can even freeze it.
