Now, this slimming world curry is something that we hesitated to try purely because it sounded disgusting but rest assured it tastes way better than it sounds. This is a meal which can easily be varied to suite your taste by adding more veg or adding more curry powder. It’s also very filling which is always a bonus to avoid unnecessary snacking.
- 2 Tins of Mushy Peas
- 2 Tins of Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 Tin of Baked Beans
- 1 Chopped Onion
- Sliced Mushrooms
- 3 Tablespoons Curry Powder
- Chicken Breast
Firstly, grab a medium sized saucepan and empty the 2 tins of mushy peas, 1 tin of tomatoes and the tin of baked beans and bring to the boil.
After it's boiling, take it off the heat and blend with either a hand blending or a blending tool of your choice to remove and trace of lumps.
Once that's done, take a frying pan and spray it with some Frylight then throw in the chopped onions and mushrooms, fry for around 2-3 minutes until softened.
Next, add your diced chicken into the frying pan and cook thoroughly until browned.
Mix in your blended curry sauce and the second tin of chopped tomatoes into the saucepan along with the curry powder and bring back to the boil.
Simmer for around 10mins until the curry is to your consistency and serve with some boiled white rice and/or some slimming world friendly chips
