Tuck into these amazing double bacon and beef burgers complete with fresh crispy salad with creamy mayo. All inside a healthy wholemeal bread roll.


  • 1 x Small Finely Chopped Onion
  • 500g Extra-Lean 5% Beef Mince
  • Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • 8 x Bacon Rashers with Fat Removed
  • 1 x Level Tablespoon Extra Light Mayo
  • 2 x Tablespoon Fat Free Natural Fromage Frais
  • 4 x 60g Wholemeal Rolls
  • Lettuce - Sliced
  • 1/4 - Cucumber - Thinly Sliced
  • 1 x Tomato - Thinly Sliced
  • 1 x Onion - Sliced Into Rings


Step 1

Grab a large mixing bowl and put in your mince, onion and parsley, Season and mix well with your hands until all combined.

Step 2

Split the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into burgers. Put the burgers on to a plate, cover and chill for 30mins.

Step 3

Next preheat the grill on high, then put a large non-stick frying pan on a high heat and place the burgers into the pan, Gently pressing on them for better cooking. Cook for around 1 minute on each side to seal the meat then lower the heat and cook for a further 5 minutes turning regularly until cooked.

Step 4

Whilst the burgers are cooking, place the 8 rashers of bacon into the grill for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they're cooked to your taste.

Step 5

Remove the burgers and bacon from the oven/grill and place into some kitchen roll to drain any excess fat.

Step 6

Mix the mayo and fromage frais together and put it on both sides of the wholemeal bread buns then fill them with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, burgers and bacon.

Step 7

Serve with Slimming World Chips or Slimming World Fries and enjoy!
